February 1-28	Month of Valentines Romance is in the air all month long with packages and activities designed to celebrate love each day in February.
February 4 - 6	Special Olympics Shanty Creek hosts many of the Special Olympics Winter Games on the slopes at Schuss Village. Spectators welcome! Click Here for more information
February 7	White Pine Stampede National 50 km and 20 km point-to-point cross-country ski race. The White Pine Stampede is a race for those who want to race. It’s a tour for those who want to tour. It’s what you want it to be! It is an event for all cross country skiers regardless of ability. The idea is to have fun! All races finish at Shanty Creek. Click Here for more information.

February 20-22	Mardi Gras Weekend An up-north Cajun celebration on the slopes of Schuss Mountain with bead bobbing, a frozen-fish toss and Mardi Gras Party Big Brother Big Sisters Weekend Special lift ticket rates for the weekend, with proceeds going to BBBS of Northwest Michigan. Ends with a match event on Sunday with "bigs" and "littles" enjoying lunch, tubing, lessons, rentals and skiing courtesy of Shanty Creek Resorts.
February 27- March 1	Slush Cup Weekend Celebrate over 30 years of Shanty Creek’s most popular winter event – a race course on an icy 40’ pond! Lots of other activities on the slopes including a frozen fish toss, shovel races, the fruit suity and more!
February 28- March 1	CUSSA Race Weekend Central United States Ski Association Region III age class qualifier. March 21-22	Season Pass Holders Appreciation Days 2008/2009 Season Pass holders will be rewarded with special events, prizes, pricing for their friends and F & B specials by showing their 08/09 SCR passes. Special pricing will be available for the purchase of a next season's pass. Property Owners Ski Free Weekend Last Weekend Luau Spring Carnival atomosphere with a Luau theme.
