Q: How will I know where to check in?
A: After we receive your deposit, you will receive a confirmation letter with your check-in location. Click here for directions to each village.

Q: What time is check-in/check-out?
A: Check-in is 6:00pm; check-out is 12:00pm.

Q: What are Shanty Creek's deposit & cancellation policies?
A: Deposits: The first night's lodging or package is due at time of booking. The deposit is applied to the last night of the confirmed stay. Holidays (12/26-1/1) require a 50% deposit; a second deposit for holiday stays equal to the difference between the first night's rate and 50% of the total rate for the stay will be due by 12/1. Cancellations: You will receive a full refund upon five days' notice of cancellation or change, less a $10 per room handling fee. There will be no refund on less than five days' notice of cancellation or change. 14 days' notice of cancellation or change is required for holidays (12/26-1/1). No refund will be given on unused portion of lodging or package stays.

Q: What is Shanty Creek's smoking policy?
A: Smoking is permitted outdoors in designated areas. All accommodations are non-smoking. If the policy has been violated, a $250 cleaning charge will be assessed.

Q: Do you have shuttle service?
A: During peak seasons, we offer complimentary shuttle service between all three villages and to downtown Bellaire (transportation to Bellaire is based on availability).

Q: Is there a fitness center at Shanty Creek?
A: Resort guests (ages 14+) have complimentary access to our Fitness Center which includes the use of Nautilus weight equipment, free weights, cardio equipment, dry sauna, steam room, whirlpool, showers and locker rooms. Click here for spa treatments and prices.

Q: What is Shanty Creek's pet policy?
A: We allow one pet (35 lbs. or less) in our pet-friendly units for a fee of $20/night. Your pet must remain on a leash and with you at all times, and we ask that you clean up after your pet.

Q: Can I stay in Summit or Cedar River Villages and ski at Schuss (and vice versa)?
A: Yes, you may ski at either mountain (dependent upon slope hours), regardless of where you're lodging.
