Shanty Creek Snowmobile Drag Race
March 28-29, 2008

Gear up for big time thrills and head to Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek Resorts, our Traverse City, Michigan ski resort, for end-of-season racing fun at the Snowmobile Hill Drag Race. Mark your Northern Michigan events calendar for March 29, 2008, to watch as snowmobiles race side by side up the face of Schuss Mountain in a single elimination competition at our stunning Bellaire, Michigan resort. Following the races, trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes in each class at Ivan’s in Schuss Village.

Spectators:

• Bring your lawn chair and prepare for exhilarating Northern Michigan events!
• There will be a $7.00 admission fee at the gate for spectators and racers

Racers:
Register Friday, March 28 from 8am-5pm and Saturday March 29 from 8am-10am at Snowsports Deck (Bottom of Yellow Chair Lift) in Schuss Village. Racing begins at 12 noon on Saturday. There is a $7 admission fee and the entry fee is $20 for the first class and $10 for each additional class. Classes are as follows:

• Stock: 500cc/600cc/700cc/800cc/Open
• Improved: 500cc/600cc/700cc/800cc/Open
• Outlaw: All turbo and nitrus sleds

For the safety of our participants, Helmets must be worn by riders on any running sled. Drivers must remain seated at all times. Any alcohol in pits will result in driver/sled disqualification with no refund. All decisions at the finish are FINAL.
