Shanty Creek Resorts has a long-standing record for creating memories and nurturing family traditions. With this in mind, we invite you to bring your family Up North with the promise of something for everyone.
Children's Center
Shanty Creek's Children's Center combines quality care with creative play for fun and memorable experience. Children experience a nurturing, playful and safe environment that includes stories, free play, art, music, outdoor play and, if needed, rest time.
The Shanty Creek Children's Center will be open December 19th through the end of ski season on Saturdays & Sundays from 9am-5pm (and also December 26-January 3). However, the center will not be open if there are no reservations by 4pm the day prior. The center serves children 2 months to 5 years of age.
Rates are $48 for a full day, or $10/hour.
Reservations are required. Please call 800.678.4111 ext. 7860 to reserve a space for your child by 4pm the day prior to the day for which you desire care. In order to insure your child’s placement we suggest that you make reservations at the time you book your lodging. Late reservations and drop-ins will be accepted as space allows.
Camp Gandy
There is always fun and excitement at Camp Gandy! Shanty Creek's summer camp activities are designed to meet the needs and interests of children with activities including crafts, hiking, swimming and field trips, and a new theme each week.
Babysitting Service
Date night during a family getaway? Shanty Creek maintains a roster of childcare providers who can meet your family's individual needs for evening childcare.
Rates are $12/hour ($15/hour on New Year's Eve) for the first child and $2/hour additional per child in the same family (up to four). Minimum of two hours is required. If you decide to cancel you must do so at least two hours prior to the scheduled time or you will be responsible for $20 paid to the provider.
