All lessons take place in Schuss Village.Online registrations must be completed at least 24 hours in advance of your lesson time. Please note, we do not accept registrants by telephone.
Snow Stars
The Snow Stars program teaches children to ski. Our instructors use the latest training techniques allowing your child to progress to their highest ability. And we know children want to have fun first. Note: Program enrollment closes 30 minutes prior to lesson time. Early registration is encouraged.

Snow Comets
Similar to Snow Stars, Shanty Creek's Snow Comets program is designed to teach your 3- & 4-year olds to ski. Through games and props, children are taught basic skiing technique and are encouraged at their own pace. Children must be potty trained. Early registration is encouraged.

Ski & Play
Ski & Play offers a morning group ski lesson combined with an afternoon where your 3-5 year old(s) can relax, play and even nap in our safe, nurturing and fun Children's Center. Children will ski from 10a-12:30p, have lunch with their ski instructor and then be escorted to the Children's Center until 5p. Ski & Play is offered on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Snow Angels
Snow Angels is a program for 5-6 year olds is similar to Snow Stars but offers more individualized attention and limited class sizes—allowing students to develop quicker.
Please note: Snow Angels is only available on weekends and holidays. Price includes rental equipment and a no-charge lift ticket. Children must be potty trained. Program enrollment closes 30 minutes prior to lesson time. Early registration is encouraged.

Smart Riders
For first-time snowboarders and students who need help with the execution of snowboarding basics. Half-day programs start at 10am and 1:30pm for first-time snowboarders; at 1:30pm we also offer a program for students who have not mastered the basic skills. Lift tickets not included for children 9-12.

Kids' Academy
Kids ski in a group with an instructor for the day. Classes combine ski instruction with fun & games designed to aid learning. Groups are divided according to skiing ability. Lift tickets not included for children 9-12.
