Snow Stars
The Snow Stars program is designed to teach young children to ski. Our children's program instructors use the latest in teaching techniques to permit your child to progress to their highest ability. We know that children need to have fun first and that each child's skiing development is unique and depends on experience, individual abilities and interests.
Please note that program enrollment closes thirty minutes prior to lesson time. Early registration is encouraged.

Snow Comets
Similar to our Snow Stars program, Shanty Creek's Snow Comets program is designed to teach your 3 year old how to ski. Through games and props, children are taught basic skiing maneuvers and are encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Snow Angels
Snow Angels is a program similar to Snow Stars but with more individualized attention. The class sizes are limited to no more than three children to one instructor. The small class size allows students to progress and develop their skiing skills more quickly. Price includes rental equipment and no charge lift ticket. Available most weekends and holidays. Program enrollment closes thirty minutes prior to lesson time. Early registration is encouraged.

Smart Riders
For first-time snowboarders, half day programs start at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. Children 8 and under board free and must obtain a no charge lift ticket. Lift ticket is not included for children 9 - 12. Program enrollment closes thirty minutes prior to lesson time. Early registration is encouraged.

Kids Academy
Kids will ski in a group with an instructor for the day. Classes combine skiing instruction with fun and games designed to aid learning. Groups are divided according to skiing ability.
