Visit the Nordic Center at Cedar River for Nordic rentals and lessons. If you have your own equipment, trail heads can be found at all three of Shanty Creek’s resort villages.
If Nordic skiing isn’t your thing, you can still hit the trails and explore the beauty of SCR. Grab a pair of snowshoes and discover SCR’s 4,500 acre winter wonderland. Visit the Nordic Center at Cedar River for rentals.
Operated by Pets That Pull, Mike King’s beautiful Siberian Huskies add smiles and atmosphere to Schuss Village throughout the season. Kids will grin with delight as Mike leads the dogs through the several-mile trail ride. Note: Dogsled rides are limited to children under 100lbs. Rides are $24 each and last approximately 15 minutes. Shanty Creek’s proximity to the vast Jordan Valley Trail System offers yet another snowsports option to your winter getaway.
