Michigan's Favorite Ski Slopes
Schuss Mountain has long defined skiing in Michigan. So it’s no surprise Shanty Creek was rated "Best Downhill Terrain in the Midwest" by OnTheSnow.com’s visitors.

Now with 55 runs on its two mountains and featuring six terrain parks, more than 175" of snow, and a 450' vertical drop, Shanty Creek is where terrain meets tradition.

This season Schuss Mountain will introduce The Monster Energy Park--the combination of Purple Daze, Boulevard and The Natty. Sure to create one monster park experience. New in 2012-13 will be The Big Air Launch Pad featuring a 25' and 40' booter. Park newbies will be able to approach park riding in the Low Rider beginner's park.

For racers and those looking for a challenge, Schuss Mountain's face (aka Kingdom Come) offers some of Michigan's steepest terrain making it an easy decision for high school and club ski teams from all around to choose Shanty Creek for training.

Summit Mountain returns with Michigan's Most Affordable lift ticket rates. The Summit-Only ticket, available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, are only $15.
