Our certified PSIA and AASI instructors provide individual and group lessons for all abilities in all disciplines.

Choose from Private Lessons, Group Lessons, and specially-designed programs for children ages 5-12. For beginners to advanced, including race clinics and cross-country skiing.

After a quick ride on the SkiBra, Schuss Mountain’s Super Kids beginner area delivers a safe and fun learning environment, while Shanty Creek Resort's “terrain-based teaching” allow skiers to progress on the bunny hill with confidence.

Ages 5-12

SuperKids

Our BEGINNER group program for 5-12-year-olds introduces skiing with terrain-based instruction allowing the students to have fun while improving at his/her own pace. As skills and confidence grow, they move onto more challenging bunny hill terrain.

• Mornings: 10am-12:15pm: $120
• Afternoons: 1:15-3:30pm: $120
• Rental packages must be booked separately and include skis with bindings, boots and a helmet

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Lessons may not be booked day-of. Please make your lessons in advance of your arrival.
  • $10 charge for any and all cancellations or rescheduling of booked lessons.
  • Afternoon programs available on Saturdays and Holidays only.
  • A lift ticket is included for children ages 8 and under.
  • Program sessions for kids may include a rest break.
  • Snowboard lessons are available for children as private lessons only. Request a private lesson here.
  • A private lesson is available for children ages 3-4, and 13+. Request a private lesson here.

• Requests for a specific instructor must be made at least three days in advance.
